Content: 50mg of THC in 10ml (.35 fluid ounces)
Activation time – about 30 minutes (per packaging, and in practice)
Heat Rating: 2 out of 5 stars (less spicy than Sriracha)
Chili Notes: Chili was definitely a high note, but in a great way. It was the first thing I tasted. Reminded me of the Mexican candy Lucas.
Vinegar Notes: Mild, thankfully a runner-up flavour. Unlike Tabasco, this will not leave you feeling like you just drank straight from a pickle jar.
Marijuana Extract Notes: Tasteable, but in a nice way. Gave a zesty medicated flavour without overwhelming the fact this is a hot sauce.
Straight off the Spoon
Taking a plain taste of this sauce was an enjoyably necessary way to get an idea of its character. It’s not bad on it’s own, but I would be less inclined to eat it straight if it didn’t have THC in it. The combined effect is quite worth it tho.
Breakfast – Fried Egg w/ Green Onions and Pepperjack Cheese
This was an absolutely great way to start a serene Sunday morning. I felt nourished from the food and a pleasant buzz from the PotSauce. It totally propelled me into a fulfilling day, and I can thank the PotSauce for that.
Cucumber Salad – Cucumber, Onion, Cherry Tomatoes, Bean Sprouts, Hummus, Raspberry Vinaigrette, and Chia Seeds
The PotSauce was a welcome dash of THC-laden zest when sprinkled on this veggie heavy salad. It gave me a pleasant buzz without taking me down for the count. I’d recommend it on any other lunch or dinner faves – grilled cheese, popcorn, mangoes, burritos, you name it.
Overall, I think it would make a great gift for people that like hot sauce and cannabis. It’s a nicely discreet way to have an edible. It’s functional, tasty, and easy to work into a huge range of snacks or meals – even on fresh fruit! Although it appeals to a niche market of the spice-loving stoner, for those that would like it, they WILL like it!
